Meet the next generation of NRL superstars. After a stunning week of carnival rugby league, we unveil our best Under 15’s Australian Schoolboys side.

Following a stunning week of schoolboy rugby league in Redcliffe, News Corp Australia has run the rule of the long line of talent that competed in the carnival to select an Australian Under 15s team.
Led by goalkicking sensation Callum Grantham, who was awarded man of the match in the Under 15s grand final after booting NSW CIS to a shock victory over NSW CHS.
The side includes Lui Lee – the flying brother of Brenko – and Ashton Large – the 13 year old hooker who outplayed his older rivals to put himself on the radar of every NRL club.

Fullback: Callum Grantham (NSW CIS)
Player of the match from the grand final, Grantham was also a goal kicking match winner in the “semi final’’ win over Queensland Maroons.
But around those heroics he was also a danger man sniffing around the ruck and good under the high ball in the wet earlier in the championship.
Wing: Reilly Caswell (NSW CIS)
The Manly Harold Matthews prospect was one of the top 10 players of the tournament with his blazing pace often on show, including in the come from behind win over Qld Maroons.
It was Caswell who ushered the ball over the dead ball line after the siren in the final.
Centre: Lui Lee (Qld Maroons)
Lee was arguably the class centre of his age group, with telling footwork, size and speed. The brother of NRL player Brenko,
Lee could also pull off a shot in defence at left centre, but it was his ball work and running which was most impressive over the last week.

Centre: Heamasi Makasini (NSW CIS)
From Newington College, Makasini crossed for the grand final try five minutes from full-time which dragged his side back into the match.
A left edge powerhouse, his combination with wing star Reilly Caswell was eye-catching.
Wing: Mereki Warradoo (Qld Maroons)
The Dolphins have signed Warradoo and it is little wonder.
The Wavell SHS fullback was arguably Queensland’s best in his age group and simply demanded selection in the First XIII.
Five-eighth: Onitoni Large (NSW CIS)
The Wests Tigers-signed playmaker was one of the stylish movers of the championship, with his long stride and vision causing no end of trouble to edge defenders.
Halfback: Alex Joseph Isdale (NSW Combined High Schools)
The playmaker from Westfields Sports High School, Isdale was easily in the best three players of his age group and polished his championship with a gala grand final performance.

Lock: Charlie Dickson (Qld Maroons)
Another Dolphins pathway player from Wavell SHS, Dickson is a real Wayne Bennett type middle forward with no frills who just churns through the work. He and Zac Bateman (Qld white) play the same position and did similar roles for their sides.
Second row: Heinz Lemoto (NSW Combined Catholic Colleges)
Lemoto was an edge colossus for his side with thumping running and jamming defence.
Second row: Tanner Mahon (NSW CIS)
Mahon played his way into our side with a huge grand final performance.
The Central Coast Sports College edge forward was almost impossible to handle for first contact defenders.
Prop: Lochlin Moses (NSW Combined High Schools)
The big, mobile middle forward prime mover from Endeavour Sports High School got his team going forward and delivered quick play the balls for his dummy half and halves.

Hooker: Ashton Large (NSW CIS)
Aged 13, Large was the baby of the championship who lit up the pool games with lightning dummy half skirts, handing his side match winning momentum.
Prop: Nixon Pasese (Qld Maroons)
The Dolphins-signed prop was a midfield powerhouse, joining with teammate Mace Andrews in an imposing one-two, go forward combination for the Maroons.
RESERVES
Ellyjah Birve (Qld White)
There was a splash of Chris Sandow (ex-NRL player) in young Birve who snared one man of the match award in one game despite being off colour, and kicked a pressure goal in another game to boot his side to victory.
Jhett Sydir (NSW CCC)
The Penola Catholic College halfback guided his team expertly around the paddock, bringing his forwards onto the ball and swinging the ball to the edges when the attack ball was on.
Lorima Rokosuka (NSW CHS)
A thrilling prospect from Westfields Sports High School, Rokosuka was a left wing powerhouse who went within a whisker of making the First XIII. He scored a try in the grand final.
Kaden Garner (NSW CHS)
The imposing edge forward from Endeavour Sports High School was a defensive powerhouse for CHS.
Zildjian Tafili (Canberra High School)
The Canberra Raiders were keeping an eye on Tafili’s progress and with good reason with the big fellas effortlessly handling the step up in class in often heavy conditions.
Nate Berrigan (Qld white)
Berrigan never had an off button, giving his team energy with and without the ball. The Redcliffe SHS student was tireless from start to finish.
Roman Tuaimau (NSW CCC)
From Patrician Brothers College, Tuaimau was a handful in the wet and the dry for CCC.
Tamoko Berryman-Duff (NSW CHS)
A Narrabeen Sports High School prospect, the CHS No.6 had a memorable tournament.
