Schoolboy Cup kicks off in Queensland with Solid Win to Marsden SHS

A great result this afternoon for our Opens NRL Schoolboy Cup Rugby League side, with the boys running out winners 24 points to 18 over St Marys.

In a great display of team work and grit, the boys played the majority of the match with 12 players and showed true resilience to push through this challenge.

The boys now travel to Keebra Park next week, in what is sure to be a big game!

In other results, the Year 10 side had a great win, producing a final score of 36 points to 6.

At home, the Opens girls had a great win over Keebra Park, with the Year 7/8 side also producing a barnstorming performance. Stay tuned for a follow up story from this great show of community for our girls!
