History Made In NSWRL SG Ball Competition
Story By : Steve Montgomery

Rugby League history was made today (Sunday 09 Feb) at Trusts Stadium, Waitakere in New Zealand when the NZ Junior Warriors played their 1st game in the NSWRL SG Ball Competition against fellow newcommers to the Competition the Victoria Thunderbolts.

The Junior Kiwi’s started the game with a tight struggle with the visiting Victorian side going to the half time break down 16 – 10.

NZ Warriors Captain Sione Moala had a blinder scoring two tries, converting 6 goals including a penalty goal for a personal tally of 20 points in what had to have been a Man of the Match performance.

With rain causing major havoc in the Eastern States of Australia, only four game were played.
