Competitions across the state have captivated fans, showcasing intense matchups and stellar athleticism.

Each game delivered excitement – from spectacular tries to insane finishes.

Teams have battled fiercely for every point, as the stakes rise higher with each round heading into finals.

Tweed Seagulls 18 def Burleigh Bears 12 at UAA Park

In a tightly contested match at UAA Park, the Tweed Seagulls maintained their undefeated streak this season with an 18-12 victory over the Burleigh Bears.

The game showcased some standout performances, including a double from Cooper Bai, who was key to the Seagulls’ success.

Mafiou Cherif looked comfortable on the field as he crossed the white paint for a double.

In a blowout victory, the Redcliffe Dolphins dominated the Wynnum Manly Seagulls with a staggering 48-nil scoreline.

Remarkably, Reeco Kirk found himself scoring twice in only two minutes of gameplay.

What was most impressive was not the strong offensive effort, but the team’s resilient defence that led to the Dolphins keeping the Seagulls scoreless.

The Magpies made quick work of the Devils on Saturday, led by a balanced offensive effort, including significant contributions from Elsiyah Laumatia.

Elsiyah Laumatia who bagged a double and David Bryenton, who kicked six from eight conversions.

A rare Wednesday make-up game was a thrilling match that showcased resilience from both teams, as Burleigh Bears and Brisbane Tigers played to an entertaining draw.

The Bears were led by tries from Gabrielle Lolohea, Liarna Barber-Salvation, Brianna Toopi, and Bella Thompson, while Samara Mackay-D succeeded with three conversions, one of which was a fortunate penalty goal.

The Tigers matched them in the effort, with Liliele Vaitolo, Zerenity Tuala, Lishainah Ulugia, and Namoe Gesa all crossing the line, as Lishainah Ulugia also converted her three tries.

It was a gripping showcase of skill, with both teams finishing on equal terms.

Norths Devils 24 def Souths Logan Magpies 22 at Marsden State High School

In a fierce contest, the Norths Devils edged out Souths Logan Magpies by just two points.

The Devils displayed a balanced attack with tries from Selupevaelei Sipaia, Eva Steers, Te Ngaroahiahi Fanua Awhina Rimoni, Riana Le’afa-Paki, and Courtney Tyrell.

Bailey Webb added two goals to seal the victory.

Despite producing a strong performance, including two tries from Danielle-Elizabeth Tutakangahau, the Magpies fell short, demonstrating that they will continue to fight for their first win of the season.

The Sunshine Coast Falcons maintained their strong form with a commanding 32-12 victory over the Western Clydesdales.

With a dominant performance, the Falcons scored tries through Bliss Wilkins, Jessica Cross, Lila Parr, Mia Vines, Dianne Ladewig, and Takoda Thompson. Mackayla Champion and Deena Budby successfully converted three goals, showcasing an impressive attacking display.

The Clydesdales managed two tries from Charlotte Collie and Mia Byrnes off the back, but they struggled to keep pace, ultimately succumbing to a tough defeat.

The Mackay Cutters continued their unbeaten streak by overpowering the CQ Capras with a decisive 36-12 victory.

The home side was bolstered by a standout performance, featuring a double from Selina Cowley and Cecilia Misob, who also contributed four goals.

Despite a solid effort from the Capras, with tries from Lyndell Malone and Caydence Fouracre, they remain winless this season whilst the Cutters remain undefeated.

In an overwhelming display, the Brisbane Tigers cruised to a massive 46-nil victory over the Ipswich Jets.

Sienna Ibrahim was the star of the match, scoring a hat trick, while Fleur Ginn added two tries, alongside Lishainah Ulugia contributing four successful conversions.

The Tigers showcased their clear offensive dominance, whilst the Jets struggled to get into the game, ending the match without a single score and remaining winless this season.

Tweed fought hard, with Viliami Fifita scoring their sole try and Sam Wall adding the extras but ultimately fell just short of claiming a win.

The Sunshine Coast Falcons showcased their offensive prowess in a strong win over the Western Clydesdales.

Kaidan Jarrett, Cash Bennett, Makani Madgwick, and Jett Ryan each crossed the line for tries, while Taj Kuhl added three goals.

Despite valiant efforts from Alastair MacLachlan, Charlie Barnes, and Jack Curtin, who all scored for the Clydesdales, the Falcons held on for a solid win.

Calvin Ramos contributed significantly with two tries, while Grange Womal showcased his kicking accuracy with seven of a possible eight successful conversions.

The Capras scored four tries, including efforts from Parker Gallagher and Jay Marsh, but were unable to keep pace with the offensive onslaught from Mackay.

In a stunning performance, the Norths Devils steamrolled the Souths Logan Magpies, securing a massive victory.

Ethan Grimshaw, James Grey, Timahna Tandy, and Karter Iva quickly opened up the scoreline in retaliation to a lightning-fast try from Mapies Lexin Hill in the first minute of play.

However, the quick try still wasn’t enough to get the momentum rolling in this one-sided contest.

Ipswich Jets put forth a solid team effort to secure a well-deserved win against the Wide Bay Bulls.

With two early tries from Tomi Wilson, the Jets displayed their attacking flair. Harrison Vidler’s four conversions ensured that Ipswich maintained control throughout the match.

Despite Thomas Taipari’s sole try for the Bulls, they struggled to make an impact as they continue to search for the first win of the season.

Viliami Fifita led the charge with a brace of tries, supported by Jai Bilish and Austin Desmond who also scored.

The Bears pushed back fiercely with tries from Kingston Seve and Cornelius Kelsall, but their efforts fell just short.

Both teams did the majority of their damage in the first half before a strong focus on defensive effort in the second half resulted in neither team being able to add any additional points.

The Wynnum Manly Seagulls delivered a resounding performance in a commanding win over the winless Redcliffe Dolphins.

Bailen Noy is wasting no time, collecting a try in the second minute of play. Followed by Ezekiel Jones, Barry Taukolo, Devine Timu, Daniel Cash, and Majah-Jose Peachey, all scoring tries, while Dean Tauaa added two more to the tally.

Lachlan Hooker converted five kicks to blow out the score. Redcliffe managed to respond with efforts from Kyron Arthy and Dallas Carmody, but the Seagulls’ dominance was evident throughout the match.

A Wednesday make-up game due to Cyclone Alfred saw the Brisbane Tigers continue their impressive undefeated streak, dominating the Burleigh Bears with a convincing 46-16 victory.

Enah Desic was a standout player, not only scoring a try but also contributing five goals.

Tiahna Kanawi shone with four tries, showcasing her incredible speed and skill. The Tigers’ powerful attack proved too much for the Bears, who struggled to keep pace despite attempts from Marley Tauri, Jayda Collins and Chezaan Kainui.

This victory keeps the Tigers atop the table.

Sunshine Coast Falcons 16 def Western Clydesdales 10 at Toowoomba Sports Ground

In a tightly contested match, the Sunshine Coast Falcons edged out the Western Clydesdales with a narrow 16-10 win.

Lily Bain and Tahlee Donald put in solid performances – scoring tries to secure the Falcons’ early lead.

Western Clydesdales fought hard, with Sedeequa Nelson notably scoring a try in the opening seconds of the game, but ultimately fell short in a thrilling finish, leaving both teams eager to build on their performances in future matches.

Central Queensland Capras 28 def Mackay Cutters 4 at Rugby Park

Marmie Nati shone brightly with a hat trick, while Janique Mili also had an outstanding performance, contributing two tries and four goals.

The Magpies’ balanced attack overwhelmed the Devils, who managed only two tries from Paige Stagg and Simaima Vainga.

Decisive win solidifies the Magpies’ position as a formidable force in the league.
