Broncos Supporting Schoolboy Rugby League

The Brisbane Broncos were again proud to sponsor the premier Schoolboy Rugby League competitions in South East Queensland, with the Grand Finals of each of these competitions being played last week.

Over the past twenty years, the Broncos have invested over 1.5 million dollars into Schoolboy Rugby League, where competitions are played at all levels from regionally through to the South East.

Sponsoring approximately fifteen school-based competitions throughout Queensland each year, Broncos funding is used to offset transportation costs, sports medicine, referee expenses, as well as awards.

Broncos Supporting Schoolboy Rugby League

Over fifty secondary schools compete in the Broncos sponsored school competitions, with Marsden State High School taking out the 2021 Allan Langer Trophy and the Broncos Old Boys Grand Finals.

Palm Beach Currumbin State High School claimed the Kevin Walters Cup, Michael Hancock Cup, and the Steve Renouf Shield.

The Broncos would like to thank Broncos Challenge Convenor Mr. Phil Hall, The Queensland Secondary Schools Rugby League, the NRL, Referees Associations, Sports Med Officers, as well as the teachers, players, and principles from each of the schools who participated in 2021.
