Great day for Sydney schoolboy footy

The NSWCHS today held the much anticipated Sydney Red vs Sydney Gold Under 15 & Under 18 schoolboys trials at Smith Park, East Hills

It was a fantastic and busy day with action going on both fields.

The first games were Sydney South West vs Sydney West in both the under 18’s & u15’s

Sydney South West dominated in the under 18’s game winning 9 tries to just the 1 great Sydney West try.

Through lots of hard work and good footy the under 15s Sydney South West vs Sydney West game was a bit closer with the SSW boiz winning 6 tries to nil.

Later in the day Sydney East got it on with Sydney North on both fields for again the Under 18’s and Under 15’s

Sydney East had to work very hard and some school combo’s from the Endeavour SHS boiz showed and helped their team to a very close win 3 tries to nil

On the other field Sydney East under 15s ran riot, running in 7 tries and held Sydney North Scoreless.

There were no serious injuries to any players in today fast schoolboy footy, which is what we all want to see every game.

Selectors jobs were made difficult today with so many players from all teams putting in a red hot effort to play for their teams and also win the posibilty of selections in the NSWCHS rep teams.

The selected sides will be competing in the NSWCHS State schoolboy trial held at Collegians later this year.

The Under 18 schoolboy and the first time ever Under 18 schoolgirls NSWCHS State Championships are on from Monday 22 May to Wedneday 24th May

In August we will see the Under 15 boys and the NSWCHS under 16 schoolgirls Championships payed again at Collegain Figtree, from Monday 7th August through to Wednesday the 9th

It is OurFootyTeam’s privilage to have been the official photographer for yesterday Uner 19 Schoolbirls trails and today Sydney Red & Gold trials.
