Upcoming Referee Foundation One Course

The Canberra District Rugby League Referees Association is running a Foundation One Referees course for new and beginner referees ahead of the 2021 season.
The course consists of two components:
Enrolment and Online learning modules. Click here to enrol in the course. There is no cost involved.
Face to Face component. This is being conducted at NSWRL Canberra Academy, 2 Eade St, Bruce on Saturday 27th February between 9:30 AM and 12:30 PM.
Candidates can undertake the Face to Face component prior to the online modules, provided they are enrolled on the day.
The Foundation One course will include the following topics :
Role of the Referee
Competencies of a Referee
Legal Responsibilities
Code of Conduct
Personality Traits and Qualities of a Referee
Communication
Laws of the Game
Junior League Laws
Safe Play Code
Practical Refereeing
Touch Judging
Tag Rugby League
The Association will also be running Face to Face components on Wednesday 24th March (6pm – 9pm) and Saturday 27th March (9:30am – 12:30pm).
