Tarsha Gale Cup Season Review

The nib Newcastle Knights Tarsha Gale Cup side had an incredible season in 2021.

Seven wins from eight, including seven on the trot, saw the side earn the minor premiership.

The side scored 204 points and only conceded 64 in return en route to a semi-finals series.

The team took down the Roosters Indigenous Academy with a 22-10 victory in late February.

They kept their momentum going with multiple wins which culminated with a massive 30-0 victory against the Steelers.

A final round loss to the bottom placed Bulldogs was a slight dampener on a remarkable regular season.

While they may have lost on the day, other results from across the league saw the Knights wrap up the minor premiership.

The fairytale season came to an abrupt end as the side were defeated 26-10 by the St George Dragons in their semi final at Leichhardt Oval.

The team will have their eyes set on another strong season and finals redemption in 2022.
